The things that influenced me interms of technology...my cell phone, Apple computers, music, TV, Nintendo...I think that my theme for the assignment might be music, since that's the thing that seems to be most prevalent in my life....
Music could be a great frame for your story. It might also influence your mode of delivery (maybe a voice recording of your paper with songs added). How will you organize your Autobiography - chronologically, by genre of music or of music technologies (like Manny suggests)?
